coaching policies

When you sign up for coaching with Chelsea, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Virtual Services. All services will be performed via phone or video conferencing software.

  2. Payment. Payments will be collected in advance of services performed via Moonclerk. Coaching clients are automatically placed on a monthly recurring subscription, with the option to cancel any time per the terms of the specific coaching tier (see cancellation policy below).

  3. Text Messaging. You agree to release Chelsea from liability for SMS charges resulting from consulting via text message. Packages that include unlimited text message consulting must conform to the following hours: Chelsea will answer messages as soon as possible between 9am and 7pm Monday through Saturday. Messages received on Sundays will be answered by 10am on the following Monday. Chelsea guarantees to keep a record of text messages for 30 days following each student’s final coaching session.

  4. Email Communication. You will receive confirmation and personalized coaching emails upon signing up for coaching. You will also have the option of joining Chelsea’s mailing list. Should you opt in initially, please be aware that you can later choose to opt out of email communication at any time.

  5. Cancellations. For a single coaching call, you must notify Chelsea of a cancellation at least 6 hours in advance. A makeup session time will be offered via email within two weeks of the originally scheduled session. One cancellation/makeup is permitted per session. If a makeup time is not accepted/completed within the two-week window due to a failure on your part to commit to a new time, that session will be forfeited from your total monthly allowed sessions. Chelsea will make every attempt to offer makeup times that fit with your schedule, but cannot guarantee that your preferred time will be available.

    If you’ve chosen the Individual Coaching option, there is a minimum commitment of two months. After your minimum is fulfilled, you may choose to cancel at any time, so long as you notify Chelsea in writing by sending an email to chelsea@bigbadbrainery.com at least 7 days prior to your next billing date. If your cancellation request is received within this time frame, you will not be charged for the upcoming month. Coaching services will be provided up until the final paid date (the date before your next payment would be due).

    If you’ve chosen the Premium Coaching option, there is a minimum commitment of three months. After your minimum is fulfilled, you may choose to cancel at any time, so long as you notify Chelsea in writing by sending an email to chelsea@bigbadbrainery.com at least 7 days prior to your next billing date. If your cancellation request is received within this time frame, you will not be charged for the upcoming month. Coaching services will be provided up until the final paid date (the date before your next payment would be due).
